[02] HAPPY PATH

From parts to first quarter turn.

  1. 01

    BUY THE PARTS

Use the exact tested board and battery base for your first build. Substitutes will be listed only after validation.

  2. 02

    PRINT THE ENCLOSURE

Download the versioned STL and source CAD, then follow the documented orientation and tolerance checks.

  3. 03

    ASSEMBLE

Seat the board without forcing connectors. Keep the USB port, front button and display accessible.

  4. 04

    FLASH FIRMWARE

Install the signed R1 binary, verify its checksum and use the recovery instructions if flashing is interrupted.

  5. 05

    PAIR + SYNC

Grant Android Bluetooth permissions, scan for the cube and atomically activate your first program.

  6. 06

    RUN THE TEST

Confirm one deliberate quarter turn, upright text, correct targets, rejected small movements and recoverable undo.

[03] FIVE-MINUTE ACCEPTANCE TEST

Done means reproducible.

  • Screen faces you in the starting orientation.
  • One deliberate 90° twist confirms exactly once.
  • Desk bumps, off-axis tilts and incomplete turns are rejected.
  • Exercise changes and the display remains upright.
  • Count goals and timed countdowns match the app.
  • Undo restores the same target on both phone and cube.
