Set up your cube.

Use a computer with Chrome or Edge and a USB data cable. Your phone connects to your buddy after installation.
- Connect your cube with a USB data cable.
- Confirm the board and choose an installation below.
- In the USB picker, select USB JTAG/serial debug unit (on a Mac, its port usually starts with cu.usbmodem).

Pair after the restart
Your companion’s eyes appear first. To pair, hold + and - together for five seconds. The cube restarts and shows a six-digit code for ten minutes. This removes any previous phone pairing. In the Android app, open My Buddy and choose Connect my buddy, then enter the code in Android’s pairing prompt. Hold + to return to the eyes. An already-paired phone can reconnect without showing the code.
If installation stops
Reconnect the USB cable, close other apps using the port, and try Update again. If the cube does not boot, choose New cube · first installation for recovery. Recovery may erase cube data; history already saved on your phone stays there.
