DELETE YOUR DATA

Deleting Kinetwist deletes your data.

This page is for Kinetwist: Movement Snacks, published by Kinetwist. The app has no account, so there is no account to close. Almost everything it knows is stored on your phone and nowhere else, which means uninstalling is a real deletion rather than a request you have to wait on.

[01] HOW TO REQUEST DELETION

Two steps, and the first is instant.

  1. Delete what is on your phone. Uninstall Kinetwist: Movement Snacks, or open Android Settings, then Apps, then Kinetwist, then Storage, then Clear storage. Either one removes your plans, history, settings, and the random participant identifier immediately. You do not need to ask us, and we are not involved.
  2. Ask us about the rest. Email support@kinetwist.com from any address and say you want your data deleted. You do not need an account or a reference number. We answer every request within 30 days.

[02] WHAT IS DELETED, AND WHAT IS KEPT

Everything below, in full.

Plans, saved programs, confirmed movements, your seven-day history, breathing and meditation records, timers, settings, and your discomfort ceiling
On your phone onlyRemoved the moment you uninstall or clear storage. Nothing is kept anywhere else, because none of it was ever uploaded.
Planner log lines: a one-way hash of a random participant ID, request identifiers, the adjustment and day you picked, your movement pack, and the movement identifiers involved
Google Cloud Logging, europe-west1Deleted automatically 30 days after it is written. It holds no name, email, or account. The hash cannot be reversed and the participant code shown in the app is too short to reproduce it.
Optional product analytics: a movement pack, plan shape, and whether Pro is unlocked
Google Cloud Logging, europe-west1Off unless you switch it on, and it carries no identifier of any kind, not even a hash. Deleted automatically 30 days after it is written.
Purchase record for Kinetwist Pro: an anonymous identifier generated by the billing SDK, and whether the entitlement is active
RevenueCatDeleted on request. Email us and we will remove it.

Nothing is retained beyond the periods above, and nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or used to build a profile of you.

[03] THE ONE THING WE CANNOT DELETE

Google keeps its own record of a purchase.

If you bought Kinetwist Pro, Google Play holds a record of that transaction so it can handle refunds, receipts, and tax. That record belongs to Google, not to us, and we have no way to remove it. Your Google Play purchase history is the place to review it.

We can and will delete our own copy, which is the anonymous identifier and entitlement state described above.
